Our Team

Ruthven Projects was founded in 2021 by brothers Ben and Jaxson. Ben came from custom home building — working with Kindred Custom Homes and Trillium Homes — and Jaxson came from high-level hardscaping with Bearmark. Between the two of us, we had everything needed to take on any outdoor project, so starting together made sense.

Our crew is made up of college athletes — players from UBC, SFU, and other programs — which means we have no shortage of people who show up and work hard. We run a tight operation and don't cut corners.

What We Offer

The main thing that sets us apart is value. Our overhead is low, our crew is efficient, and we've built enough relationships in the industry to source quality materials at the right price. Clients consistently get a finished product that looks like it cost significantly more than it did.

We work across the Greater Vancouver area and take on projects of all sizes — from single patios to full backyard builds.
